Super League XXIX, known as the Betfred Super League XXIX for sponsorship reasons, will be the 29th season of the Super League and 130th season of rugby league in Great Britain.
With the announcement of a new Super League streaming platform for the upcoming season, the details of how each Rugby game will be aired are starting to become more apparent.
In October, Sky Sports and RL Commercial announced a three-year renewal to their rights deal, which would continue until the end of the 2026 season. The news was first revealed by Love Rugby League back in July.
The six games in each round of fixtures will have a video referee thanks to the new, “transformational,” deal, which will see every Super League game shown live.

How to watch Super League Rugby Games
Before tonight’s 26th Super League Grand Final, which will be covered live and exclusively from Old Trafford, Sky Sports and RL Commercial have unveiled a groundbreaking new three-year rights contract that will begin next season and see every Betfred Super League match televised live for the first time.
With this new agreement, Sky Sports will continue to broadcast all six Super League rounds live, for a total of about 170 games annually across Sky Sports channels and platforms. This cooperation will last beyond 30 years. Included in this are the Magic Weekend schedule, the Play-Offs, and the Men’s, Women’s, and Wheelchair Grand Finals.
In addition to live matches, Super League fans can tune in to Sky Sports for a range of support programming, including interviews and features and can stay across all the latest Rugby League news.
