How to watch World Rugby Sevens : When does it start, Live streams and schedule

Defending champions and URC table toppers Leinster will renew their rivalry with Munster in the final round of league stage action this weekend.

The fixture carries great weight for Munster, who likely need a win if they are to land a home quarter-final in the competition.

Leaders Leinster are six points ahead of Munster and have top spot wrapped up with five teams battling it out for the remaining three top four places that would secure a home quarter-final.

Just three points separate second-placed Munster (56 points) and sixth-placed Vodacom Bulls (53 points) with Cell C Sharks and DHL Stormers (56 each) only behind Munster on points difference and Ulster (55) a point further back in fifth place.

Friday night will see Ulster host Cell C Sharks (7.35pm) with the Vodacom Bulls away to Ospreys (8.10pm).

DHL Stormers are away to Scarlets on Saturday evening (5.10pm) with Munster away to Leinster in the final game of the round (7.15pm).

Ospreys and Scarlets have plenty to play for as they bid to top the Welsh shield and earn a place in next season’s Champions Cup. The sides are tied at 44 points apiece heading into the final round.

Where is Munster vs Stormers?

Stormers are the home team for final-round league meeting, and will host Munster at the the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

When is Stormers  v Munster?

The Munster vs Stormers match is due to take place on Saturday, May 27.

It is the second meeting between the two teams in the league this season. The Blues turned out winners in the first clash at Thomond Park earlier this season

What time is kick-off?

It is an evening fixture, and will commence at 7.15pm.

What TV channel is Stormers v Munster on?

The fixture will be shown live on TG4.

Pre-match build-up begins at 6.40pm, 35 minutes ahead of the scheduled kick off.

Leinster have confirmed both Tadhg Furlong and James Lowe will miss this weekend’s URC clash with Munster.

Furlong sustained an ankle injury in the first half of Saturday’s Champions Cup semi-final win over Toulouse while James Lowe injured his shin in the game’s last play. Leinster say both Irish internationals will be further assessed this week.

This weekend’s return to URC action sees Leinster host Munster at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday (kick-off 7.15pm – Live on TG4, Premier Sports and URC TV).

Furlong and Lowe likely would have been rested for Munster’s visit even if available, but the pressure is now on for them to prove their fitness ahead of the following Saturday’s Champions Cup final against Ronan O’Gara’s La Rochelle.

Rónan Kelleher failed a head injury assessment in the second half of the 40-17 win over the reigning French and European champions and will follow the return to play protocols this week.

Jordan Larmour will look to return to full training this week after his return from a hip injury.
