Highlanders vs Hurricanes Pre-season

Here’s how to watch the Super Rugby 2024 Pre-season coverage of the Highlanders vs Hurricanes match.

Preseason matches feature thrilling new lineups, as lesser-known players vie for a starting spot and overseas immigrants experience Super Rugby’s intensity and effect for the first time in New Zealand.

A select group of Dunedin rugby fans will get to witness all of this on Saturday, February 10th, when the Highlanders and Hurricanes square off in a pre-season trial held indoors.

The Highlanders of 2024 will get another opportunity to prove themselves in front of a club that has brought back seasoned players like Brad Shields and TJ Perenara during their second preseason game. Having recently recovered from a protracted Achilles injury, Perenara will be keen to prove himself after missing out to new All Black Cam Roigard for the 2023 campaign.

Rhys Patchell, the Welsh international for the Highlanders, is excited to showcase his skills to Highlanders supporters alongside other exciting backline additions like Tanielu Tele’a (Blues) and Timoci Tavatavanawai (Moana Pasifika) after experiencing his new home conditions for the first time.
