Canes vs Brumbies Rugby: Hurricanes are preparing to take on the Brumbies in Round 10

Canes vs Brumbies

The Hurricanes Rugby will take on the Brumbies this Friday, April 28 at 7:05PM at Sky Stadium. In honor of Culture Round and the various cultures that bind teams and supporters throughout the Pacific region, the Hurricanes are getting ready to play the Brumbies at home this Friday night in Round 10 of the DHL Super Rugby competition.

Jason Holland, the head coach of the Hurricanes, has chosen his team to play the Brumbies with a few significant injury returnees as the Hurricanes come back from their “bye week” rejuvenated.

Isaia Walker-Leawere, who was injured in round three, is back in the forward pack to partner James Blackwell at lock, and Wellington’s Caleb Delany hopes to make a difference off the bench.

With lei for the crowd, a poi making area, and cultural performances at halftime, the Hurricanes vs Brumbies game will celebrate culture.

Stephen Larkham, head coach of the Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies, has selected a potent team for this Friday’s top-four match against the Hurricanes at Wellington’s Sky Stadium.

Wallabies hooker Lachlan Lonergan, Fred Kaihea, and Sefo Kautai make up the Brumbies bench, which has been crucial to the team’s recent run of success in 2023.

At the lock and backrow positions, respectively, Darcy Swain and Luke Reimer will provide tons of energy, while finishing halves Ryan Lonergan and Jack Debreczeni will add quality and control.

Ben O’Donnell, who scored three goals in Round 8, rounds out the Brumbies matchday lineup.

Stephen Larkham, head coach of the Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies, stated: “We’re in good shape going into an exciting test for our group on Friday night.”
