In 2024, Argentina Rugby will participate in twelve rugby test matches. The number remains the same as it did in 2021, 2022, and 2023. Similar to the tears outside of Rugby World Cups, there will be three kind of fixtures: The Rugby Championship, the July Internationals, and the November Internationals are the three events.
Argentina will play three matches in the first week of July. It is confirmed that two will play Les Bleus in Argentina. On July 06 and 13, 2024, France will play two test matches in Argentina. On July 20, Argentina will play a match against a Tier 2 opponent that has not yet been announced.
There could be even more options closer to home, like a capped away test match versus Uruguay. It has been confirmed by ARN that advance talks have taken place regarding Los Pumas playing their test match against a neighbor on July 20.
Argentina Rugby Championship 2024
The dates of the 2024 Rugby Championship are August 10–September 28. The match order will be altered, however the format will remain the same as in 2022. Argentina’s first match will be away, traveling to New Zealand to play the All Blacks twice. In the meanwhile, South Africa will play the Wallabies twice in Australia. Argentina will play Australia at home in round three while South Africa will play New Zealand at home in round four. Argentina will play South Africa away and at home in the penultimate and final rounds. New Zealand and Australia will play each other both at home and away.
