Bledisloe Cup FT: All Blacks 57, Wallabies 22
The ruthless All Blacks have annihilated the Wallabies 57-22 at Eden Park to retain the Bledisloe Cup yet again. For the home side there were standouts across the park, with Aaron Smith and Richie Mo’unga controlling things well. The Ioose forward trio were very busy and Ardie Savea got through a power of work despite picking up a yellow card. Both Ioane brothers were good, with Rieko having probably his best game in the number 13 jersey so far.
Congratulations to the All Blacks.
Another complete performance as David Havili scores yet another stunning try.
The Wallabies had their chances in the first half but it wasn’t to be.
Time to regroup and learn for two weeks’ time in Perth.
I hope Australian kids get a chance to see the cup one day.
Andrew Kellaway’s try-scoring spree continues – that’s now three at Eden Park in two Test matches.
Some cheer for Wallabies fans but it’s still NZ up 50-22 with 10 minutes to play.
There is no other Test team that can score from there.
Great team work from the All Blacks, as good as it gets.
Will Jordan is the latest try-scorer and it’s NZ 50, Wallabies 15 after 66 minutes.
There’s still 20 minutes left but that’s the ball game as Codie Taylor grabs his second for NZ to make it 43-15.
The Wallabies let some opportunities slip in the first half and they are paying for it now.
The ABs are very impressive in the way they take their opportunities.
