A preliminary team of 35 players has been confirmed by Australia U20s Rugby coach Nathan Grey ahead of the first-ever U20s Rugby Championship. In Kangaroo Valley, the group will come together before being reduced to 31 in time for the May tournament.
Jack Barrett, who recently made his NSW Waratahs debut [above], is the most recent addition to the squad as they prepare for the U20 World Championships in July.
Barrett replaced Wallaby Angus Bell late in round six of Super Rugby Pacific, making his debut against the Rebels.
With ten players chosen from the nation’s capital, the ACT Brumbies are the team with the most representation.
