The 2024 Ampol State of Origin Rugby series, which will feature a three-match women’s State of Origin series for the first time, is the largest State of Origin series in the history of the game, according to the NRL, which today revealed the whole schedule.
Game One of the 2024 Ampol State of Origin series will take place at Suncorp Stadium on Thursday, May 16, following the historic 2024 women’s series. On Thursday, June 6, the second game will take place at McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle.
Queensland, who currently hold the Shield, will get the first chance to host the extended series twice and defend their title in 2024. Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Townsville will host the probable final on Thursday, June 27.
The 2024 Ampol State of Origin series will conclude with a possible men’s decider at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium on Wednesday, July 17. The men’s Origin series will get underway at Sydney’s Accor Stadium on Wednesday, June 5, and return to the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Wednesday, June 26. 2024 Ampol State of Origin series announced

Women’s State of Origin 2024
For the first time ever, a three-match series will also decide the Women’s State of Origin.
Previously, either a standalone fixture or two home-and-away games have been played.
All three Rugby matches will be broadcast live on the Nine network.

An under-19s Origin double-header will also be played in 2024, with both men’s and women’s matches to played at Leichhardt Oval on Thursday, June 20.
The under-19s Origin will be broadcast live on the Nine network and Fox Sports.
