Australian One of the Leading sports channel Fox Sports gets the broadcast rights to telecast Rugby League World cup 2026 live in Australia
Australian viewers will be able to watch all 61 men’s, women’s and wheelchair matches at the end-of-season World Cup in England live on Fox Sports.
The Foxtel Group has secured the coveted Australian broadcast rights to the World Cup, which begins with England hosting Samoa at St James Park on October 15 and concludes with the men’s and women’s finals at Old Trafford on November 19.
BBC to broadcast every Rugby League World Cup game
The BBC will broadcast all 61 games for the men’s, women’s and wheelchair World Cup tournaments.
It is the first time all three editions of the tournament will be broadcast live on free-to-air UK television.
Every England, Scotland and Wales game will be shown on BBC One or BBC Two and BBC iPlayer.
All three World Cup finals take place in Manchester between 18-19 November.
One of the biggest international Rugby League tournaments to date is taking place across England this autumn, and for the first time in Rugby League World Cup history, all 61 games from the men’s, women’s and wheelchair tournaments will be broadcast live on free-to-air UK television as the BBC delivers all of the action from every single game. BBC Sport will ensure audiences across the country witness every try, tackle and memorable moment, kicking off with England against Samoa on BBC One on 15 October, through to the finals on November 19.
