Japan v England Rugby 2024 at National Stadium

England will face Japan at the National Stadium in Tokyo on Saturday 22nd June in the Lipovitan D Challenge Cup Japan v England Rugby 2024.

The two countries will play their first-ever Test match in Japan this coming Saturday. Although England had visited Japan before in 1971, 1979, and 2003, the games were not recognized as official test matches.

In their most recent meeting, which took place in Pool D of the World Cup last year, England defeated Japan 34–12.

England’s autumn international match against Japan will take place at Twickenham Stadium on Sunday, November 24, later this year.
