The Swire Delivery Fijian Drua will play the Western Power in their subsequent preliminary match in anticipation of the 2023 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season . The second trial match will be held at the Western Districts RFC Park in Toowong, Queensland on Thursday February 16.
The Fijian Drua will play a second trial match against the Western Force in Australia next week before the beginning of the 2023 Super Rugby Pacific season.
After beating the Melbourne Rebels 24-0 in Nadi last week, playing the Force in Australia in a fortnight will be a different affair.
Drua and Flying Fijians pivot Teti Tela said it would be a different encounter for the boys.
“That will be different taking them on in Australia, but we will see how we did against the Rebels, work on a few things that need tweaking and head into that game against the Force,” Teta said.

Rebels fall to Fijian Drua in Super Rugby trial
Melbourne have opened their Super Rugby pre-season campaign with a 24-0 loss to Fijian Drua.
The Rebels travelled to Fiji for the first time but left empty-handed, unable to turn a swag of possession into any points.
Recruits English lock Tim Cardall and hooker Alex Mafi, made their first appearance for the Rebels amongst a number of familiar faces such as Nambian Test flanker Richard Hardwick and Australia A halfback James Tuttle.
The match was played over four quarters at Prince Charles Park in steamy conditions, with a big home crowd turning out to support the Drua.
Both teams turned in a scrappy early showing, scoreless through the opening two stanzas.
Fijian Drua finally broke the deadlock in the third quarter through lock Kitione Salawa with playmaker Tuidraki Samusamuvodre stretching the lead to 12 points.

The initial match is against Moana Pasifika in Auckland, New Zealand on February 25.
The Drua play at home this season without precedent for cycle three, when they take on reigning champ the Crusaders at Churchill Park in Lautoka on Walk 11.
