Rugby All Blacks will face Fiji in a historic test match.

New Zealand’s All Blacks will face Rugby World Cup quarterfinalist Fiji in a historic test match at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego. Under new head coach Scott Robertson, the All Blacks’ 14-test itinerary for 2024 includes a visit to San Diego to play Fiji.

NZ Rugby announced on Thursday that the two teams will square off in a unique rugby exhibition on July 20 at SnapDragon Stadium in the United States.

The All Blacks have faced the USA in San Diego only before in 1980. The international season of this year kicks off on July 6 in Dunedin’s Forsyth Barr Stadium versus England. On July 13, the teams play again at Eden Park in Auckland.

All Blacks face to host Argentina in Wellington on August 10

On July 19, New Zealand will play Fiji in the USA. In order to promote the game in North America, New Zealand Rugby has a “long-held ambition,” according to Chief Executive Mark Robinson, to play a Test match there.

The All Blacks defending champions host Argentina in Wellington on August 10 and take on Los Pumas in Auckland one week later in the Rugby Championship.

Before hosting the Wallabies in Wellington for the second of two Bledisloe Cup meetings in late September, New Zealand also travels to play South Africa and Australia.

Before embarking on an end-of-year European tour that includes stops in England, Ireland, France, and Italy, the All Blacks will go north at the end of October to play Japan in Yokohama.
