Wigglesworth, who was instrumental in the club’s success as a coach and player, started for Tigers in the 2022 Premiership final. From that South African influence, Sarries developed into a group of young English guys who had attended the same Academy.It was also incredible to defeat a team I played for one that hadn’t lost a championship in a long time while finishing it with the Leicester Tigers. “To top it all off, we packed so much into so little time to win the Premiership with Leicester, and we did so thanks to a remarkable turnaround under Steve Borthwick.”
