Flanker Gabrielle Senft and scrum-half Justine Pelletier make their first appearances for Canada in this tournament, while second-row Abigail DuGuid and winger Alysha Corrigan make their first starts. DuGuid replaces the injured Courtney Holtkamp
Australia hand three players a first test start in flanker Piper Duck, scrum-half Layne Morgan and centre Cecilia Smith, while Grace Kemp could become the 15th player to make their Wallaroos debut in 2022 after being named on the bench
