Munster face Premiership leaders Northampton Saints at Thomond Park

Munster takes on Premiership leaders Northampton Saints in the Investec Champions Cup On Saturday, January 20, at Thomond Park. This is our final match of the Champions Cup Pool stages before we travel to Toulon, France, on Saturday, January 13, at 3.30 p.m. Irish time, the next week.

Munster is only one point behind Glasgow Warriors in third place after two rounds of play, having lost to Exeter Chiefs away and drawn at home against Bayonne. Munster is currently ranked fifth in the Pool.

There are two crucial games yet to come. The top four go to the knockout stages. Northampton, who are playing in the Premiership on Saturday against Exeter, has won nine of their previous ten games.
