When is the World Rugby Dubai Sevens Final 2022?
Kick-off is at 17:26 (SA time).
It will be a fourth consecutive appearance in the Dubai Sevens final for the Blitzboks.
The Blitzboks beat New Zealand 26-19 in the semi-finals, while Ireland proved too strong for the USA, winning 12-7.
The Dubai Sevens runs from 2–3 December 2022.
There will be 11 tournaments throughout the next 6 months in countries all over the world, finishing with the London Sevens, which starts on 20 May 2023.
The Dubai event also marks the return of the Women’s Sevens. Australia will look to extend their dominance in the event in 2022. Already this year they have won the previous Rugby Sevens Series, the Birmingham Commonwealth Games and the Rugby World Cup Sevens.
